Black & white fine art photographs by Charles Bryant. Hand printed images mostly photographed in Africa, looking at the abstract, the obscure, and the art form. Thats the signature tune....................
What's below this are some of the shots that have lived with me longer than others. A lot of images shouldn't be in my contact sheets and a very few make their way into a longer life. I have always admired Cartier Bresson's images, in that he has the ability to make an image last forever as he has a way of seeing things that draws the viewer back into the shot. This is an artist worth studying. An artist who's images defined "street photography" before it became an art form.
The next shot moves into rural Africa, still relatively close in African distances (about 1000kms away), and over time I'll try and show an Africa teeming not with game but with art.
Stay close!
